Description

Notice of intent to negotiate a SOLE SOURCE contract with Smith Enterprises, Inc. to provide 100 each M14 Tactical Scope Mount and 100 each Heavy Duty Tactical Rings. The scope mount must be made of 4140 solid steel and black nitrited heat treated to withstand not only shock but weather conditions as well. The mount must have a see-thru rail. The cam lock, cam lock nut, and screw must be at least 4130 heat treated steel to prevent backing out. The mount must be a three point contact mount. The rings must be heat-treated chrome vanadium steel. Capacity to hold 30mm tube. 10mm hex nuts. The rings must have a military style overall finish shell. Delivery of the first 20 requested on or before November 10, 2000 and then 20 of each line item every 30 days until the total quantity is complete.
