Description

This acquisition is to procure, under a Firm Fixed Price contract, 20 each Yanmar 3kW One-Cylinder Diesel Engines, NSN: 2815-01-465-5993, IAW the manufacturer P/N L70AE-DEGFR, Drawing Number 98-19513. The above referenced engines will be procured from Yanmar Diesel of American Corp. or any of its authorized distributors/dealers. Yanmar is the original designer of the engine. Delivery for above referenced engines will be 90 days or earlier FOB Destination to New Cumberland, PA 17070. Packaging and Packing shall be IAW the contractor's best commercial packaging, ASTM-D 3951-98. Bar Code Markings are required IAW ANSI-AIM-BC1, USSC 39, and MIL-STD-129. This is A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION in accordance with FAR Part 13; THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. Drawings are available and may be obtained by written request via Fax. Fax number 732-532-1600. Quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation requirements and incorporated provisions are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circulars. Offerors are requested to provide quotes for Contract Line Item 0001AA (NSN: 2815-01-465-5993) Yanmar 3kW one-cylinder Diesel Engine and Contract Line Item 0002AA as 100% Option Provision. Award will be made on the lowest price, technically acceptable quote. Successful offeror will be asked to complete Representations and Certifications that would ordinarily be included in the solicitation. Offerors are advised that the applicable clauses will be incorporated into the contract, at contract award. Quotes are due no later than 2:00 PM, EDT on Thurs, 16 November 2000.
