PART: U.S. GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENTS SUBPART: SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, MAINTENANCE, SERVICES, AND AUXILIARY PRODUCTS OFFADD: CECOM Acquisition Center Southwest Operations Office, ATTN: AMSEL-AC-CC-S-RT-D, Building 61801, Room 3413, Fort Huachuca AZ 85613-6000 SUBJECT: BOUNDARY SECURITY DEVICES AND OTHER RELATED PRODUCTS SOL. NUMBER: DAAB32-01-T-0002 DUE: 11/3/00 POC: CYNTHIA HALL, 520-533-0363 DESC: Source Sought for establishing Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.303 with GSA Schedules holders for boundary security devices and other related products. This outlines Army policy for purchasing Information Assurance (IA) Products, maintenance, services, auxiliary products (management software, etc.) and minimum standards that vendors shall meet in order to place network & host based Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Firewalls, Network Vulnerability Scanners, Purge Tools, and High Assurance Guards (HAGS) on a BPA. This solicitation will not entertain introduction of potential products to be tested for inclusion into the current Information Assurance Program. It solicits GSA vendors who offer the products on the Army Approved Information Assurance Products List which consists of the following: Firewall products: Raptor MFG AXENT Technologies, Inc., PIX MFG Cisco Systems, Lucent Managed Firewall MFG Lucent Technologies, Gauntlet/Eppliance Network Associates, Inc., Sidewinder MFG Secure Communications Corp, and Sunscreen MFG Sun Microsystems. IDS products: Intruder Alert MFG AXENT Technologies, Inc., RealSecure MFG Internet Security Systems, and Cybercop MFG Network Associates, Inc. Network Vulnerability Scanners: Security Test and Analysis Tool (STAT) MFG Harris Corp, ISS Scanner MFG Internet Security Systems, and Cybercop Scanner MFG Network Associates, Inc. HAG: XTS-300 MFG Wang. Purge Tools: Shred MFG Los Altos and SIC-21 COMtek. All IA Products shall run on one or more of the following Y2K compliant operating systems: NT, Solaris, HP-UX, IBM-AIX, LI NUX, and Novell.
