Description

The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Contracting Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, intends to issue a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to GreenTek Unlimited Concepts, Inc., 9723 Quiet Lake, San Antonio, Texas 78250-6118. This purchase order is a follow-on to a previous purchase with GreenTek Unlimited Concepts, Inc. to provide expert technical services for the Spectacle Request Transmission system (SRTS). This expert support will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the SRTS in the transmission of orders from the military clinics to the laboratories. It will also improve the tracking of progress by the laboratories in filling the order and shipping the completed eyewear back out to the ordering clinic/customer. This is a sole-source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7379 and Small Business size standard is $14.5M. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Note 22 applies.
