Description

i. This is a combined sysnopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ii. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under solicitation number 00T0010. iii. Solicitation 00T0010 and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. iv. This is a small business set-aside. v. Scope of Work: Furnish billeting services for 177FW unit personnel IAW the following specifications: QUANTITY/DATES OF SERVICE: A block of 111 rooms is to be guaranteed available on the following Friday & Saturday nights: 01-02 Dec 00, 05-06 Jan, 09-10 Feb, 09-10 Mar, 06-07 Apr, 04-05 May, 08-09 Jun, 13-14 Jul, 10-11 Aug, and 07-08 Sep 01. ROOM ASSIGNMENT: Rooms will be issued as follows: Friday night calls for 37 rooms (14 single/23 double), and Saturday night calls for 74 rooms (the 37 from the previous night plus an additional 11 single/26 double rooms). A list will be provided each month which indicates each member's name, rank, gender, and eligibility for single or double room, and 1 or 2 night's stay. Upon check-in it is the contractor's responsibility to confirm each member's eligibility against that list and assign them accordingly. Room assignments will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those personnel required to share a room will be assigned to the next available billet without regard for roommate preference*. Opposite-sex pairing of roommates (unless married) is unauthorized. Once the maximum number of rooms per date of service has been utilized, no more 177FW unit members may be issued a billet at Gov't expense. (*Exception: smoking preferences may be accomodated until the number of contracted billets is exhausted.) vi. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. vii. Overall best value to the Gov't will be used for award determination. viii. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with offer. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. xi. FAR 52.214-31 Facsimile Bids, 52.222-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities, 52.222-22 Previous Contracts and Compliance Reports, and 52.222-41 Service Contract Act of 1965, As Amended all apply to this acqisition. xii.
