Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement consitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation Number R3-WZ-01-03 is issued as an IFB. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 19. (iv) NAICS Code is 421320, the size standard is 100 employees; this procurement is not set-aside. (v) One Item, 15,200 TN crushed aggregate, AB (vi) Grading D (AASHTO T 11 and T 27), Pub. EM-7720-100, Forest Service Specifications For Construction of Road and Bridges, Revised 8/96 ISBN 0-16-048801-X; Avail from: U.S. Government Printing Office, Superintendent of Docs, Mail Stop: SSOP, Washington, DC 20402-9328; it is preferred that supplier be close to Sedona, AZ, since the FS is picking up material. (vii) Acceptance will be made when Forest Service picks up material. If award can be made by early November, 2000, material will be picked up though the end of November; if award is made later, material will be picked up at the beginning of Calendar Year 2001. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) FAR 52.212.2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items will be used and evaluated price of material, price to the Government to pick up, and past performance. (x) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Conmmercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xi) FAR Clase 52-212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
