Description

This is to modify the original synopsis published on 05/09/00, for Hospital Services at the Federal Prison Camp Seymour Johnson, Goldsboro, NC. It is anticipated a single, requirements type contract award will be made. The medical facility shall be within a 70 mile driving range of the Federal Prison Camp. Estimates are as follows for all five years: Inpatient Facility Services: 248 days; Inpatient Physician Services: 248 visits; Outpatient Facility Services: 250 visits; Outpatient Physician Services: 250 visits; Cardiologist: 40 sessions; General Surgeon: 90 sessions; Urology: 20 sessions; Internal Medicine: 90 sessions; Orthopedic Surgeon: 50 sessions. Sessions are 2 hours in length. Evaluation criteria is a follows: Technical (technical approach, centralized billing, credentials and qualifications of professional staff, proximity to the institution, diversity of services required, provision of managed care oversight): Past Performance (quality awards and accreditations, quality of service, timeliness of performance, cost control, business relations, customer satisfaction) and Price.
