Description

This work is part of the decommissioning of the nuclear reactor at NASA's Plum Brook Station in Sandusky, OH and is subject to the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act. It is the intention to retain a general contractor with responsibility for the entire project, including but not limited to: ground preparation for water and sanitary lines to the rental trailers; provision of electricity, telephone, and data communication lines; furnishing the trailers; paving a parking lot; and building covered walkways. A site showing has been scheduled for Thursday, October 26, 2000 at 9:00 A.M. It is anticipated that there will be many questions and it is recommended that the entire morning be reserved for the site showing. If you plan to attend, please contact Bob Foye at 419-621-3201 or rfoye@grc.nasa.gov, no later than 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 24. THIS IS MANDATORY FOR SECURITY PURPOSES. A deadline for the submittal of proposals will be established at the site showing. Please request a copy of the Statement of Work from Bob Foye as noted above. All requests will be sent by overnight delivery. Plum Brook Station is operated under NASA contract NAS3-00123.
