NSN: 3040-01-224-2259, PN: 7-311511130-5, Quantity 192 ea min/392 ea max , applicable to AH-64 Airframe Unit. F.O.B. Origin with delivery to Texarkana, TX and New Cumberland, PA. This is a sole source item to McDonnell Douglas Helicopter (Cage 8V613). When First Article Testing is applicable the required delivery is 192 each 333 DACA. The First ArticleTest Report is due 198 DACA. When First Article Test is not required delivery is 192 each 210 DACA. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources. The approved source is McDonnell Douglas Helicopter. The time required for approval of new suppliers is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
