Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Dahlgren, VA is currently pursuing options for the provision of a non-personal services contract for a Roman Catholic Priest ordained by the Roman Catholic Church subject to approval of the Navy Chief of Chaplains. In addition to regularly scheduled services and special services, the contract may provide for visitation, weddings, baptisms, memorial services/funeral, CCD Instruction, and other needed support. Scheduled services include the celebration of mass and confessions each Friday, Saturday and Sunday; the celebration of mass on Holy Days of Obligation providing a Vigil Mass and 1200 Holy Day Mass for each or a 1200 Holy Day Mass and evening Holy Day Mass based on availability; during Holy Week, the Triduum will be provided; and a minimum of two evening penance services (preferably during Advent and Lent) that include the availability of hearing confessions. Anticipated requirement is for an estimated 12-month period with potential for options that could provide for continued support up to three years. Parties interested in responding to this sources sought announcement should provide a resume, certificate of ordination, letter of ecclesiastical endorsement, three references for past performance information, and an estimate based upon potential three years of contract coverage broken out by base year and each option year.
