- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard will be issuing a solicitation for Grounds Support Maintenance for Air Station Barbers Point, Hawaii. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment to perform repair of corrosion damages on ground support equipment for Air Station Barbers Point. Performance shall be in accordance with the standards contained in the Statement of Work and applicable purchase order clauses contained in the solicitation. This solicitation will be set-aside 100% for small business. The SIC Code is 7538/NAICS Code is 811111. The small business size standard is $5.million annually. The contract type will be firm fixed price. The period of performance will be November 2000 through September 30, 2001 for the base year, and October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002 for the first option year, and October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003 for the second option year. The solicitation will be issued on or about November 6, 2000 and shall close on or about November 27, 2000. All interested parties may request a copy of the solicitation from the POC listed above via e-mail or written request or the solicitation may be downloaded. No verbal request will be accepted. The following notice is for informational purposes: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBLEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for for transportation related contracts.
