Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). P/N PIV1500 system or equal to include: Catalog #80N35 flow map 1500 acquisition and control unit or equal. Mainframe includes controller, analog and trigger channels, Catalog #80N340 input buffer with 16MB RAM and 1GB LIFO on-line buffer. Catalog #80N53 Personality module or equal for Kodak Megaplus ES1.0 and ES4.0 camera or equal. Catalog #80C51 Kodak Megaplus ES1.0 camera or equal with Class 2 CCD chip including Nikon 60MM objective, C-Mount to F-Mount adapter and 15M cable or equal. Catalog #80S30 Flowmanager Analysis SW package or equal for PIV analysis. Catalog #DMT-PC system controller and data acquisition unit or equal. System must include capability for four (4) camera inputs, direct link to TECPLOT, animation option for display of flow maps, open architecture for the support of new HW and SW additions, masking option to reject invalid data from surfaces, and ability to be used with a stroboscope instead of a laser. Catalog/Part Numbers are from DANTEC Measurement Technology, INC. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-20. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334516 and 500, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to MSFC is required within thirty (30) days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-9. Quotations for the items(s) described above are due by 4:30 PM (EST) November 3, 2000 and either may be mailed to: Marshall Space Flight Center, Attn: PS32-S, Marshall Space Flight Center, AL. 35812 or faxed to: 256-544-9354/8656. Response shall include solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Oral responses will not be accepted. Quoters shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1.
