- Description
- Contract Information -- A purchase order will be awarded for a wide variety of hydrologic and hydrogeologic services required for various projects within the boundaries or assignments of the Portland District. Selection will be based on criteria further defined in the Request for Quotation, to include price. The purchase order will be for a period of one-year, with a one-year option period. Regardless of duration, the purchase order shall not exceed a total of $100,000. Final purchase order price will be based on authorized use of units contained on unit pricing schedule during the life of the purchase order. This announcement is a 100% set-aside for small business. Request for Quotation No. DACW57-01-Q-0001 will be available on or about 21 November 2000. Quotes will be due on or about 6 December 2000. Estimated award date will be 15 January 2001. Project Information -- Typical services to be provided will include a wide range of technical, hydrologic, and engineering analysis services. Work will be performed in the office or in the field as necessitated by the nature of the project. Anticipated services include, but are not limited to the following: Field investigations related to streamflow measurement; selection of hydrometeorological station sites; installation of hydrometerological and hydrogeologic sensing devices; trouble-shooting and maintenance of hydrometerorological sensing devices; maintenance of water well piezometers; trouble-shooting and programming Sutron-brand data collection platforms; coordinating and obtaining remote sensing transmission frequencies and permits; development of existing hydrologic model inventory; development of flood, dam failure, and drought warning plan inventory; analyses of reservoir operational schemes; review of real-time reservoir operational model setup; statistical evaluations of flood events; damage prevented analyses; review and preparation of Water Control Manual; flood event after-action evaluations and reports; production of associated reports.
