Description

Tree work and other landscape work at Naval Weapons Station Earle, Colts Neck, NJ. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment and transportation necessary for tree work and landscape services as specified in the solicitation. The resultant contract will be a combination firm fixed price/indefinite quantity type contract. All work shall be completed in strict accordance with the specifications. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this procurement is 0783. The size standard is $5,000,000.00. The proposed procurement is 100%set-aside for small business concerns. Performance period will be for a period of 12 months commencing not later than 30 days after notice of award. The Government has the option to extend the term of the contract for periods of 1 to 12 months each option for a total duration not to exceed 60 months. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Specifications WILL NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format or CD-ROM. Downloading from the Internet is free of charge; however, some specifications may take a considerable amount of time to download. All prospective offerors are encouraged to register on the Northern Division Internet EBS web site for this procurement when specifications become available. Official Planholders will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. Planholders lists will not be faxed and will only be available from the website. Contractors interested in obtaining notification when the Invitation for Bid package is electronically posted on the Internet may fax to Joanne Milano at (732) 866-2268 on your company letterhead the following information: Solicitation Number and title, Complete Address, Point of Contact, Area code and phone number, Area code and fax number, and E-mail address. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the Internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. All contractors are required to register in the Department of Defense (DoD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Failure to register in the CCR makes an offeror ineligible for award of DoD contracts.
