Description

N68950-01-Q-3702, Upgrade Fabrication Rooms for Cleaner Air, B#38 at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana. This solicitation will be issued as performance contract, best value basis with technical and price proposals required. Technical proposals will be evaluated on the factors listed in the solicitation and will include past performance in similar work, performance narrative, project schedule and equipment submittals. Work includes the provision of new suspended ceiling & insulation for approximately 3800 square feet of lab area. Work includes adding HEPA filtration modules to three existing air handling systems and rerouting ductwork. Work also includes the addition of a make up air air heater/cooler for the lab areas. Ceiling and mechanical work shall be complete prior to January 31, 2001. Estimated Cost range is under $100,000. This proposed contract listed here is an unrestricted procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is #235110 Plumbing, Heating & AC Contractors. The Small Business size standard is $11.5 million. Approximately release date is October 25, 2000. Proposals will be due approximately November 15, 2000. Solicitation will be released via the Internet.
