Description
The U.S Customs Service intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with BF Goodrich of Grand Rapids, Michigan to procure commercial Electronic Standby Instrument Systems (ESIS) to support the P-3 AEW aircraft upgrade program. This ESIS equipment along with an Air-Data computer will be supplied by Customs as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to the prime contractor and will be integrated with the existing pitot-static system to achieve a common avionics configuration baseline as previously established by the most recent USCS configuration (P-3 AEW #7 and #8). This contract will require the contractor to provide technical support, manuals, data and additional system spares. This contract action is subject to the availability of funds. See Note 22.
