- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice is issued under Request for Quotation (RFQ) number 959165, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is unrestricted. The standard Industrial Classification is 7384. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clause are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-19. The Government intends to solicit a DeVere #5108 Floorstanding Photographic Enlarger Chassis. The requirement is for the: Enlarger to be a floor standing model; have a floor feet space no greater than (h) 108 inch x (w) 52 inch x (d) 43 inches; have a drop table assembly assessable by front controls; the color enlarging head must use Dichroic filters to adjust for print color balance; have a color enlarging head that has a fan driven air cooled diffused light source; be able to handle multiable film formats from 35mm or smaller up to 8 by 10 film formats; be able to utilize existing parts and enlarging lens system already on hand with the end user; the power requirements must meet current power consumption within end user space of 110/120 volts, 12 amps, 60HZ AC. The above characteristics are intended to be descriptive, but not restricted. Unless clearly marked that the vendor is quoting on an "equal" the offered item shall be considered as the brand name product referenced in this announcement. If the vendor proposes to furnish an "equal" product the brand name if any, of the product to be furnished shall be inserted on the proposal. The evaluations of the quotations and the determination as to equality of the product shall be the responsibility of the Government and will be based on information furnished by the vendor. The purchasing activity is not responsible for locating or securing any information which is not identified in the quotation and reasonably available to the purchasing activity of the requirement. If the vendor proposes to modify a product so as to make it conform to the requirement of this announcement he shall include a clear description of such proposed modifications and clearly mark any descriptive materials to show modifications. The Government reserves the right to request product samples which can be tested for compatibility. A standard commercial warranty is required. The #5108 Floor Standing Enlarger Chassis must include the following features: a) 1200w Dichromatic Head; b) control box; c) 1500w Stabilizer; d) Universal Timer; e) 8 x 10 Negative /Carrier w (Glass); f) #504 Mask Adaptor for #5108; g) #504 4 x 5 Cut Film Mask; h) #504 6 x 7 Roll Film Mask; i) #504 6 x 6 Roll Film Mask; j) #504 35mm Roll Film Mask; k) Lens Panel for 300mm Lens; l) Flat Lens Panel Cut 150mm Rodagon; m) Sunken Lens Panel Cut Leica; n) Extra Sunken Panel Cut Leica; o) F5.6/300mm Enlarging Lens Rodagon; p) 20121 Lens/Panel for 300mm Lens; q) 28mm Enlarging Lens Rodagon; r) 1977 Lens/Panel for 28mm Lens; s) El Nicor F5.6/80mm Enlarging Lens; t) 1972 Lens Panel for 80mm Lens.
