Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Refer to solicitation as N00140-01-Q-0167. Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5 apply. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 dated 11 October 2000. The applicable SIC Code is 7218 with a size standard of $10.5M. This combined synopsis/solicitation is 100% set aside for small businesses. This requirement is for laundry services, including pick-up and delivery at Naval Air Station, Brunswick, ME. Period of Performance will be 11 months beginning 1 Nov 00 thru 30 Sept 01. Pick-up and Delivery twice a week at NAS Brunswick, ME. FOB Destination. Forty-one (41) separate contract line items (CLINS) to be laundered in various 11-month total quantities as follows: A price shall be quoted for each item. The following criteria shall be used in the evaluation of offers: Past Performance and Price, with Past Performance more important than Price. Offerors shall provide the following information regarding past performance: Contract Number(s); Name and Phone Number of Point of Contact at Gov't or other entity for which contract was performed. Dollar value of the Contract; Description of work performed. Desription of any problems encountered and corrective actions.Offerors are instructed to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Comercial Items with offers.
