Description

Background "This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal(RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. This is a sole source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1. This RFP has the following line items: 0001 -- SAE-AMS Data on CD-ROM, P/N NC-671 0002 -- SAE-AS Data on CD-ROM, P/N NC-672 0003 -- DOD Standardization Service on ERC, P/N DS-979 0004 -- Specs/Standards on ERC, P/N QMSL 0005 -- AIA/NAS Standards on ERC, P/N 340N 0006 -- ASTM Standards complete on ERC, P/N Q410 0007 -- AWS Standards on ERC, P/N 550N Ship to: AFRL/MLSC, Bldg 652, Room 22, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433 Delivery is required within 10 days after award, FOB Destination, net 30 payment terms. The following clauses apply: FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2(a). Clause 52.212-4 shall be included with any offer. W-PAFB intends to award to: Information Handling Services 15 Inverness Way East Englewood, CO 80112 Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Justification: Supplies required are available from only one responsible source, and no other type of supplies will satisfy agency requirements. Mr. Stephen J. Plaisted has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of the Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the Contracting Officer. Accordingly, the Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, the evaluation of proposals, or the source selection process and, therefore, for routine matters on individual solicitations, please contact the buyer at the telephone number listed herein.
