Description

A two-year fixed price indefinite delivery requirements contract with three one-year options to extend the ordering period by 24 months. The BEQ for the basic requirement is 1108TNs and 1662TNs for the option periods for a total of 2770 TNs. Various sources. Deliveries are required within 24 hours of receipt of delivery order or schedule. FOB is destination delivered to DOE Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Niskayuna, NY via contractor furnished tank truck into contractor 3,000GLs and government 500GLs storage vessels. Line Item 0002 Services for delay and standby time. Line Item 0003 Services (tank lease) of a 3,000GLs tank. Line 0004 Data IAW DD Form 1423. The approximate issue time of the solicitation will be 17 Nov 00. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of an acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
