- Description
- Contractor will furnish all labor, material, supervision and equipment to perform minor maintenance, repair, and alterations to various buildings at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. This will an IDIQ Contract with individual delivery orders for each project. Contract will have a guaranteed minimum of $150,000 and maximum of $1,200,000 a year with a base and two option years that may be exercised. Procurement will be negotiated on a best value basis. This solicitation will be available o/a November 22, 2000 (11/22/2000). There is a $25.00 non-refundable fee for a copy of this solicitation. Please make checks or money orders payable to "FLETC" and mail to the address listed above. Telephone, fax or e-mail request will not be accepted. This is a 100% set-aside for small business. SIC: 1542 THIS SOLICITATION IS AMENDED TO ADD: NOTE: The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed construction contract resulting from this solicitation. Note, this is a negotiated acquisition. Offerors will be required to simultaneously submit a fixed price cost proposal and a detailed technical proposal. For purposes of award, the Contracting Officer will select the best overall proposal based primarily upon technical merits, with costs and other factors considered as appropriate. In accordance with FAR 15.101, the Government will utilize the best value continuum for evaluation of offers during the selection process. The best value continuum is a method of evaluating price and other factors specified in the RFP with the objective of selecting factors considered as appropriate. The best value continuum provides the opportunity for cost/technical tradeoffs, therefore award of a resulting contract will not necessarily be made to the lowest priced offer or the highest ranked technical offer. The Solicitation, with evaluation criteria, will be available on or about November 25, 2000. Cost Proposals and Technical Proposals will be due on/or about January 4, 2001.
