Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations with The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO for the procurement of one Up Front Color Display (UFCD) P/N 138200-29 for the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) for the F-18 E/F aircraft. The Government intends to procure this equipment under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to open this requirement to competition. Responses should reference Basic Ordering Agreement N68335-98-D-0328 Deliver Order 0005. Information must be received no later than 09 November 2000. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
