Description

The purpose of this notice is to notify interested parties that the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland, plans to issue Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) orders (in FY 00-03) under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-98-G-0114 to Sierra Nevada Corporation. A series of orders is anticipated, as funding becomes available. These orders will be for support efforts associated with Precision Approach and Landing Systems (PALS), including the AN/SPN-46 Automatic Carrier Landing Systems (ACLS), AN/SPN-35, AN/SPN-43, the Common Automatic Recovery System (CARS)/Expeditionary CARS (ECARS), and the Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS). Orders will also include support efforts associated with Marine Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (MATCALS), including Remote Landing Site Tower (RLST), the TPN-22, and the TPN-30. Contractor support for these programs will include engineering studies, design and development of prototypes, modification, repair and field service for existing Government Furnished Equipment, testing, integrated logistics, program management and documentation.
