Description

This procurement is an IFB, Full and Open Competition. The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region has a requirement to perform a sheet pile penetration test. The principal components of the work to be performed includes the following: (1) Transport Government-furnished AZ 26 steel sheet pile from Glenn-Colusa Irrigation District's Hamilton City Pumping Plant to the work site. (2) Furnish four 75-foot sections of HZ 975 D steel sheet piles and required appurtenances for making a "king" pile. (3) Drive two sections of AZ 26 and two sections of HZ 975 D steel sheet piles to a depth of 70 feet. (4) Removing the sheet pile sections and transporting to a nearby storage site. The work is located at the Tracy Fish Collection Facility in Contra Costa County approximately 6 miles north of Tracy, California. The SIC code for this requirement is 1629 and the small business standard is $17 million in annual receipts averaged over the past three years. This requirement is pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. You do not have to be a small business to receive an award for this requirement. This procurement is issued pursuant to FAR Part 52.232-18 Availability of Funds (APR 1984). The estimated cost range of this procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000.
