Description

Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to replace the existing 60 Amps shore-tie to a 200 Amps shore-tie and associated circuit to accommodate the new 98_ Patrol Boat _Sturgeon_. Work includes: (A) Replace two circuit breakers, 125 Amps main, and 60 Amps branch, 480 Volts, 3 Poles, with 200 Amps and 175 Amps, 480 Volts, 3 Poles, circuit breakers, at Coast Guard existing Siemens Service Switchboard, Catalog #SB3, SO 17-25222-IO, as indicated in the drawings. (B) Install a new sub-panel inside the maintenance building wall adjacent to the Siemens Switchboard. (C) Install 2 inch PVC conduit, 2_ Sealtite conduit, and power lines between existing Siemens Service Switchboard located outside the Maintenance Building, and a new 200 Amps Shore-tie, Russellstoll Max-Gard #DBRS24042000, that will replace the 60 Amps existing Shore-tie, at a new location adjacent to its present location as shown in the drawings. Fabricate and install an anti-corrosive metal bracket to support the new Shore-tie as indicated. Retain the existing Telephone Box and bracket in the place. (D) Provide trenching between the maintenance building and the sea wall as indicated in the drawings. This procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. Performance period is 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The applicable NAICS code is 235310. Small Business size standard is $7.0 million. Anticipated solicitation issue date is 14 November 2000, with due date for receipt of quotes on 05 December 2000.
