- Description
- The contract resulting from this solicitation will be a= n Indefinite Quantity Contract for Environmental Construction Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Services at various = Postal Owned and Leased facilities located in the Capital, Baltimore= and Northern Virginia District areas. The contract is to provide = turn key project services for underground storage tank and aboveground= storage tank installation, repair, replacement, removal, up-grade, an= d/or in-place closure. Offeror's must be located and licensed in t= he states of Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, in busine= ss for at least 5 years, and be in good standing with Regulatory Agenci= es. The base contract is for one year with four one-year renewal opti= ons. The initial contract value is $250,000 where the total quantity o= f work ordered during this contract will not be less than $10,000. = The Postal Service reserves the option to increase the potential = value of the contract in increments of $250,000 (as deemed necessary b= y the Contracting Officer) not to exceed $5,000,000. The contracto= r will not be required to perform a job where the value of the work = required in any one building is less than $500 per work order. Specif= ic Work Order/s will be issued by the Contracting Officer in accordan= ce with the "Unit Price Schedule" and Specifications. Offeror's will= be required to submit One (1) "Multiplier" to be applied to the = various Unit Prices established in the Unit Price Schedule; The Multi= plier must contain the Offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance= and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be mad= e after contract award. Offers are due by 3:00 PM on December 1, 200= 0. A Pre-Proposal Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 15,= 2000 @ 11:00 am at the Capital Metro Facilities Service Office, 1040= 0 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 400, Columbia, Maryland.
