Description

Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform exterior painting and window replacement at USCG Station Monterey, Point Pinos Housing, Pacific Grove, CA. Work includes (A) Prep, prime and paint the exterior surfaces of Quarters A, including small picket fence and interior walls of Quarters A basement, Quarters B exterior, and Quarters A and B Garage exterior; (B) Painting the exterior walls and chimney of Quarters A involves the encapsulation of Lead-Based Paint. All lead work on these surfaces shall be performed in accordance with 17 CCR Division 1 Chapter 8 Section 36100 (a) (Requirements for Abatement for Public and Residential Buildings). The Contractor shall procure a financially independent firm to perform all clearance sampling cited in the code; (C) Remove existing aluminum sliding windows and fixed windows at Quarters A and B and related hardware; (D) Provide and install new vinyl framed, double glazed, double hung windows at Quarters A and B. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000 and is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. Performance period is 105 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The applicable NAICS code is 235210. Small Business size standard is $7.0 million. Anticipated solicitation issue date is 13 November 2000, with due date for receipt of quotes on 30 November 2000.
