Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a sole source contract to Aquidneck Lock & Security Systems for services to inspect, maintain and repair the entire Lenel Intrusion Detection System. This Lenel IDS is unique to NUWCDIVNPT. Lenel will upgrade a system only if it has been maintained by a certified dealer.Aquidneck Lock & Security Systems (AL&SS) is the only local company certified by Lenel to install, repair and maintain Lenel's IDS. Al&SS has an exclusive dealership in this area for Lenel parts. Acquisition Procedures per FAR Part 12 and Part 13 will be used. A request for quote will be issued to AL&SS.
