Description

Background " The Air Force intends to issue a solicitation to establish a 3 year contract for commercially produced CD-ROM and Web- based INFORMATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL products to be used at approx 110 Air Force Libraries world wide to support both professional and off duty education. The products are defined in the solicitation that will be issued on or about 10 Nov 2000. The documents will be posted at the following web site: www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil/pixslibr/mmhs/asp. THERE WILL BE NO PAPER COPIES OF THIS DOCUMENT. No advance information will be provided. THIS REQUIREMENT IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Stephen Plaisted at 937-255-9095 is the Ombudsman who hears concerns during the proposal development. His purpose is to communicate contractor concerns and issues to the appropriate Government personnel involved with this acquisition. He does not participate in the preparation of the solicitation nor does he assist in the evaluation of proposals. For routine matters contact the buying office. All SMALL BUSINESSES may submit a proposal will be considered. This is the Pre-Solicitation synopsis. A sources sought synopsis was previously issued for this requirement on 5 Oct 00."
