Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport has a requirement for 400 sheets of battery grade aluminum alloy. The sheets must meet the following specifications: Magnesium <1.00%, Tin <0.08%, Iron <50 ppm, Silicon <50 ppm, All other < 50 ppm, Aluminum balance. The sheets shall be plated with silver on one side to a thickness of 0.001"+0.0002". The sheets may be delivered as 100 pieces 16" wide x 48" long or as 200 sheets 16" x 24". The sheets must be 0.086 + 0.002" thick. The sheets must be flat to within 0.20" over a 12" length. Vendors must provide a chemical analysis from an external laboratory confirming that the aluminum sheets, just prior to plating, conform to the chemical limitations. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a best value basis. Evaluation factors are Past Performance and Price. Acquisition is 100% small business set-aside.
