Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format of Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N00164-01-R-0011 is being issued as a Request for Proposal. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97- 19 and DCN 20001001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 514191 and the size standard is 18.0 mil dollars. This requirement is for the following: Research database via the Internet, must contain Parts and Vendor Search, Government Specification and Standards (current and historical), Industry Specifications and other data bases containing information on Electronic Components, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The data bases must be hyperlinked with batch searching capabilities in all files. The following manufacturer's part numbers are, Information Handling Services part numbers. CLIN 0001 -- Part No. NWQ11 Active Military Standards, Historical Military Standards, Naval Instructions, Directives and DOD Directives; CLIN 0002 Part No. NS057 Haystack for Windows (on-line 30 user license); CLIN 0003 Part No. MCX Master Catalog Xpress (10 user license); CLIN 0004 Part No. TDX Tech Data Xpress (TDX) (unlimited access); CLIN 0005 Part No. TGE1 TDX Deposit Account; and CLIN 0006 ASTM Historical Documents (10 user license). The unit of issue for all line items is 12 months. Requirement shall include Training and Toll free Customer Service Hotline. Delivery shall be F.O. B. Destination. Final inspection and acceptance will be at NSWC Crane, IN. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Offers that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm-fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number.
