Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR parts 12 and 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION TO BE ISSUED; quotes are being requested. The solicitation number for this Request for Quote is N00244-01-T-0062 and closes on 02 November 2000. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. This solicitation is reserved 100% for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 51339. The Standard Industrial code is 4899. The Federal Supply Code is D304. Description: Symetrical Digital Subscriber Line (SDSL) for a Quantity 35 stations throughout California at speeds of 256/256, 200/200 and 192/192. Statement of work: Contractor will arrange for the installation of the Symetrical Digital Subscriber Line, (SDSL), circuit, which includes a compatible DLS router, (Warranted by the Manufacturer), provisioning and/or installation of the circuit and an end to end test of connectivity. The contractor will provide continuous internet access via the SDSL circuit to the ordering Government Agency (Name and points of contact will be provided the subsequent contract). The contractor will provide 24/7 helpdesk support. The ordering Government agency will own the installed DSL router and is responsible for its maintenance. Contractor is responsible for managing the DSL circuit connection and will act as liaison with the providing carrier in the event of a line connection problem. The following clauses and provisions are applicable and hereby incorporated into the solicitation by reference in lieu of being checked and will be provided by the contracting officer in full text upon request. Contractors must include the company's complete mailing and remittance addresses, payment terms, and company's CAGE Code, Dunn and Bradstreet (DUNS) number, and company Federal Tax Identification Number, Business size certifications and all FAR certifications and representations specified with your quote in order to be considered responsive. DFAR 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar. 1998) provides the requirement for that Contractor must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to issuance of a contract.
