- Description
- The Contractor shall provide technical services to assist the performance of IS functions in a timely & efficient manner in support of FEMA Headquarters & the National Emergency Training Center (NETC); shall be tasked to assist in the operations & maintenance of various Help Desk Systems within FEMA; will provide support, which may require active involvement in the planning, development, implementation, control, & improvement of the help desk operational system; may be required to fill help desk positions, take calls from users, provide technical advice, perform problem analysis/detection/resolution, and provide general system & software user support; may be tasked to provide telecommunications & HQ Communications Center support consisting of maintenance, operations, modernization, evaluation, testing, and training. The government intends to use performance-based contracting methods for this procurement. All responsible sources may receive a copy of the solicitation by sending a written request to the Contract Specialist at the aforementioned address. All request for the RFP package must be in writing; therefore, telephone request will not be honored. To expedite request for the solicitation, please furnish a self-addressed gummed label, including the solicitation number at the bottom edge of the label. Although, it is expected that the RFP will be made available on FEMA's World Wide Web page (http://www.fema.gov/ofm/bidinfo.htm), prospective offerors are still requested to provide their company name, address, telephone number, and fax number in writing. It is anticipated that proposals will be due 30 days after the date of issuance of the RFP. This procurement will be 100% small business set-aside, under SIC Code 7379. See Note 1.
