Description

The U.S. Department of State, Office of Aviation (DoS/OA), in conjunction with DynCorp Technical Services, is looking for a vendor that can provide inter-theater VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) services from a main base in Florida to nine (9) outstations (sites) located in northwest and southwest South America. The objective is to provide full-time duplex data and voice connectivity. The three basic options that are currently being considered are: (1) 64Kbp data connectivity supplying full-time Internet; (2) dynamic bandwidth for data transmission formal sites and additional voice channels to provide toll quality phone connections between sites and main base; and (3) dynamic bandwidth required to transmit duplex converged voice and data signal (VoIP). Vendor will be responsible for providing a "turnkey" solution, supplying all necessary equipment and service.
