Description

This is a Notice of Intent from the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, Maryland to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00421-00-G-0143, with Rockwell Collins, Inc., 400 Collins Road, NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498 for the design, engineering development, fabrication and test of a prototype P-3 Global Air Transport Management (GATM) architecture. This requirement includes the development of the initial planning related to the phased implementation of a Communication Navigation Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) capability for the P-3 aircraft. Rockwell Collins is the only know company that has the ability, resources, technology and documentation to perform this requirement.
