Description

This solicitation is issued as a Commercial Item Acquisition under the guidelines of FAR Subpart 12, the VA North Texas Health Care Systems, Dallas, Facility, 4500 S Lancaster Road, Dallas, Texas 75216, here-in-after referred to as VANTHCS, requires locum tenens coverage for a Board Certified Psychiatrist. Requirement is for approximately 90 days with the option to renew for an additional 60 days, at 30-day intervals from November 6, 2000. The Board Certified Psychiatrist shall evaluate and treat patients with variety of mental disorders including co-morbid substance abuse, in a multi-discipline team. Treatment will be provided primarily in an outpatient setting, however some inpatient work may be required. Assignment to teams will be at the discretion of the VA and may change from the teams described below based on VA requirements. Services will be provided Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. 4:30p.m. with a half-hour lunch (non-compensable). No on-call, weekend coverage or after hour services are to be pe4rformed without direction from the Contracting Officer. Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 8011 (Size 45.0 million) applies.
