Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and no written solicitation will be issued. This is 100 percent set-aside for Small Business. See Numbered Note 1. SIC Code is 1611. Size standard is 500. This solicitation identified as SOL R01-1 is issued as a Request for Quote. The project Quileute walkway, pedestrian pave walkway is 2.20 kilometer. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. Quote shall be in accordance with all requirements of this notice including those which are included by reference. This requirement is for the following: mobilization, construction survey and staking, contractor testing and construction schedule, all req'd-lump sum; silt fence and erosion control, 500-meter; selective clearing and grubbing, 3-hectare; removal of structures and obstructions, 1-lump sum; excavation, 3,800-cubic meter; embankment construction, 4,500-cubic meter; placed riprap, class ll, 5-metric ton; reinforced concrete retaining wall, 175-sq.meter; aggregate base, grading E, 2,700-metric ton; minor hot asphalt concrete, 600-metric ton; 450 mm & 900 mm pipe culvert, reinforced concrete, class ll, 66-meters; concrete catch basin, 3-each; standarn underdrain, w/geotextile, 270-meter; portland cement concrete curb and gutter, 650-meter; portland cement concrete sidewalk, 1,000-sq.meter; guardrail system G4, type ll, Class B, 145-meter; terminal section, type SRT 350, 2-each; fence, (wooden barrier), 40-meter; turf establishment, 1-hectare; rest areas (small/large), 17 & 3-each; sign installation, 8-each; removing and resetting signs along route, 8-each; pavement markings, (cross walk) solid white type C, 20-sq.meter; temporary traffic control, 1-lump sum; relocating existing utility pole (power/telephone), 2-each; luminaries, 100 watt-sodium, 13-each; poles, power, 6-each; relocating existing telephone pedestal and relocating existing fire hydrant, 5 & 1-each. Estimated price range for this work is $250,000 -- $1,000,000. The site of the construction is on the Quileute Indian Reservation, in Clallam County and is 20 kilometers NW of Forks, Washington.
