Description

The project work includes providing all labor and supervision, transportation, tools, equipment and materials required to fabricate and install a land-based supported platform foundation, install a government furnished 25_ tall free standing tower on that platform foundation, install a government furnished navigation sector light on that tower and tap an existing 480 VAC single phase service and extend this service via a concrete encased electrical duct bank to the new structure. Performance time is 60 days. The project work site is the U.S. Coast Guard Harbor Facility, 1201 Navigation Blvd, Corpus Christi, Nueces County, TX. Estimated price range for the complete project is between $25,000 -- $100,000. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 234930, Industrial NonBuilding Structure Construction, with a size standard of $27.5 million. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The tentative dates are as follows: solicitation issued November 13, 2000, Bid opening date December 14, 2000, 2:00 pm.
