NSN 7R-1270-01-460-8088-B4, Ref Nr 3154216-1, Qty 1 EA, Delivery FOB Origin -- The Naval Inventory Control Point will be soliciting a proposal for a commercial type of weapons systems support for three main items of the AN AAS-44 FLIR system. This type of support is known as Performance Based Logistics (PBL). As a result of the previous sources sought announcement, presolitation conference, and technical data review determination has been made to limit competition to the OEM, Raytheon TI. Currently a complete data package does not exist to support competition. Raytheon TI will be the only source solicited since the are currently the only known source of manufacture and repair. The scope associated with this PBL includes: 1) Repair or replacement of all components (repairable and consumables), 2) Storage and immediate issuance of all Government owned spare inventories to meet availability and fill rate goals, 3) Reliability improvements. The resultant contract will be a requirements contract consisting of three base years with two one year options.
