Description

This is a Sources Sought for the purchase, storage and installation of floor coverings, a commercial item. This is not a solicitation. Potential sources are being sought and a written solicitation will not be issued. All work will be performed at Schriever AFB CO between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays. Any work accomplished after these hours will be on an emergency basis only and only with the approval of the contracting office or QAE. The acquisition will be set-aside for small business. The Buy American Act applies (see FAR Part 25). North American Industry Classification System (NAIC) Code 23552 applies, with a size standard of 500 employees. Non-Personal services contractor shall provide all labor, tools, parts, materials and transportation necessary to purchase, store, remove, dispose, and install floor coverings. SPECIFIC TASKS: The contractor shall purchase approved flooring, store until installation and remove and dispose of old floor coverings, to include recycling of removed floor covering. Floor coverings will include all types of flooring to include, but not be limited to, carpet (tiles, roll-out, and padded), vinyl (tiles and roll-out) and ceramic tiles. Responses are due NLT 12:00 noon, local time, on Thursday, 2 November 2000, at 50 CONS/LGCB, 300 O_Malley Blvd, Suite 49, Schriever AFB CO 80912-3049.
