Description

The project consists of the installation of the October Mountain State Forest Recreational Day-Use Area and facilities within October Mtn State Forest, Berkshire County, MA. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance Time is 75 calendar days. Work will begin in June/July 2001. Major items include but are not limited to: Mobilization/Demobilization; Clearing; Clearing and Grubbing; Pollution Control; Silt Fence; Gravel Fill; Beach; Diversions; Composting Toilets; Picnic Tables; Picnic Area Grills; Boulder Barricades; and Gate Barricade. All responsible sources may submit a bid that will be considered by the agency. A Presolicitation Notice will be issued. Solicitation packages will be available to interested parties beginning on November 13, 2000 at the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation service, 451 West Street, Amherst, Massachusetts. A Site Showing/Prebid Conference is scheduled for November 29, 2000 at 10:00 a.m.
