Description

Work to be performed consists of replacing 1,800 feet of 4-inch PVC water main with 8-inch PVC water main, installation of service connections and new water meters and connection of same to the existing water service lines to the 16 existing homes/structures, relocation of an existing fire hydrant assembly, and correction of known groundwater infiltration problem in approximately 1,200 feet of existing 8-inch concrete sewer main. The locations and extent of the infiltration problem are unknown. Project completion time is estimated to be 120 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated construction cost is less than $100,000. Bid documents will be available at no charge on or about December 6, 2000, at the HHS/IHS/Engineering Services address shown above. All responsible sources may submit a bid. No telephone requests will be taken for bid documents, only written requests received directly from the offeror will be accepted (FAX #206/615-2466).
