DESC: 1005-01-251-9690, Part Number 12597048, The item to procure is an assembly of manufactured parts consisting of the following: Slide P/N 12597049; 2-Catch P/N 12597050, 2 Pin, Straight Headless P/N 12597052; Spring, Catch P/N 12597051. Note: Catch material requirements calls out alternate material to be manufactured from a bar stock. Requirements are 966, Slide Pistol Assy. FOB is Destination. For use on the M240 E MG. Offerors are hereby notified of the following requirement: In order to receive the technical data package, all offerors are required to execute a nondisclosure agreement binding each offeror to the terms and conditions of the agreement. Copies of the nondisclosure agreement may be found as an attachment to the solicitation posted on the web. The nondisclosure agreement must be signed by an official authorized to legally bind the company. Upon execution of the nondisclosure agreement, return by mail to TACOM-RI, AMSTA-LC-CSC-A/Sheri Gross, Rock Island, IL 61299-7630 or data fax to (309)782-3813, Attn: Sheri Gross. Upon receipt of the signed nondisclosure agreement, a technical data package will then be mail to the offeror. Estimated issue date is 01 December 2000. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent evaluated option. Proposed contract is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list.
