Description

This is a Commercial Items Procurement issued in accordance with instructions prescribed in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Part 14 Sealed Bidding and Part 6.203 Set-Aside for small business. The Louis B. Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment, parts, transportation and supervision necessary to provide for delivery, pick-up, storage, set-up, assembly, installation, inspection, instruction, sanitizing, and maintenance of VA and veteran owned durable medical equipment (DME), for the period of January 1, 2001 through December 31, 2001, with one one-year option for renewal. This is a total 100 % Set-Aside for Small Business. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 421450 and the Small Business Size Standard of 100 employees applies to this acquisition. Contractor must be JCAHO accredited at the time VA is ready to make award. Contractor must have physical location housing functions related to the performance of services required by the solicitation, within the Cleveland Metropolitan Area of the following counties: Lorain, Cuyahoga, Medina, Summit, Lake, and Geauga.
