Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13. No RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. The government intends to award, on a Sole Source basis, a follow on order to IBM for Sequent Symmetry hardware/software support for (3) NUMA-Q computer systems. Service support includes telephone support, product updates and bug fixes for software; remote problem isolation and resolution and on-site 4-hours response remedial hardware maintenance. NOTE: This is an "bridge" contract being issued until maintenance for these systems is included in the 2001 GSA Schedule.
