Background "30 OCTOBER 2000**** CHANGES TO PIXS PAGE. THE SOLICITATION #F33601-01-R0001 IS HEREBY ISSUED/RELEASED. To provide System Furniture Maintenance services to include automated inventory and control of installed and warehoused assets, Computer Aided Design(CAD) redesign services with automated take-off capabilities: relocation and installation, storage, warehousing and transportation for Bldg. 28, Area B, Wright-Patterson AFB OH. The proposed procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, SIC Code 8744, size standard of $5,000,000.00. Period of performance is 01 Oct 00 through 30 Sep 01. Four one-year options may be awarded. The solicitation/RFP will be issued electronically and posted on the ASC PreAward Information Exchange System (PIXS) web site at: http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. NOTE: THE RFP WILL BE ISSUED ON OR ABOUT 21 AUG 2000 ON THE PRE-AWARD INFORMATION EXCHANGE (PIXS) INTERNET WEB SITE. Once the solicitation/RFP has been posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for updates to the documents. Existence of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the Program Director or the Contracting Officer. Accordingly, the Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, the evaluation of proposals, or the source selection process.
