Description

This solicitation is to provide on-site commercial Phlebotomist Services to five (5) facilities under the Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System: 1) West Los Angeles Healthcare Center -- a) provide up to 20 phlebotomists, 7 days/week, 5:30am to 7:30am, b) provide up to 12 phlebotomists, Monday-Friday, 2:00pm to 4:00 pm; 2) Santa Barbara Ambulatory Care Center -- 1.0 FTE; 3) San Luis Obispo Ambulatory Care Center -- 1.0 FTE; 4) Sepulveda Ambulatory & Nursing Home Center -- 1.0 FTE; and 5) Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center -- 1.0 FTE. The firm fixed price contract will be effective for one base year period, from January 1, 2001 to December 30, 2001, with the Government having the option to exercise two one-year option periods. Phlebotomists must be certified by an approved Phlebotomy Training Program by either NAPA, ASPT or ASCP. The solicitation will be issued on/about 11/13/00, with responses due on/about 12/13/00 at 4:00 pm local time. Full and open competition will be sought.
