Description

Under authority of U.S. 8153 Enhanced Sharing Authority, FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 14 Sealed Bidding. The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center is soliciting bids to provide, at the contractor's facility, Maternity Services to female veteran patients. The contractor shall provide all required prenatal care, labor, delivery services, all applicable hospital fees, and postnatal care. Contractors facility shall be within 30 miles of veteran patient or no more than 30 minutes travel time or an acceptable distance based on appropriate, acceptable community services available to the mother. The Cleveland VA intends to make multiple awards to single contractors in the following cities, two in Cleveland, one in Akron, one in Canton and one in Youngstown. Requests for solicitation packages must be in writing to the address mentioned above. Requests for bid packages may be requested by fax at (216) 838-6052 and should contain at a minimum the company name, physical address, telephone and fax number and point of contact. Solicitation packages will be available o/a 11/3/00.
