Description

USAID/SOUTH AFRICA in Pretoria, requests expressions of interest from qualified organizations for Proposal (RFP) No. 674-01-P-003 Agribusiness Linkages Project. The purpose of this contract will be to support the accomplishment of USAID/ South Africa's Strategic Objective 5. Increased Market Driven Employment Opportunities through increasing the viability of small and medium emergent farmers and agribusiness entrepreneurs as a means to bolster growth of competitive employment. Specifically, the contractor shall develop business linkages and other activities to identify markets, build capacity, increased access to finance and improve policy for emergent agribusiness. The period of the contract will be four years from the date of the award. The RFP will be issued o/a November 22, 2000. Deadline for receipt of proposals at USAID/South Africa offices will be January 22, 2001 at 2:00 pm Pretoria Time.
