Description

The Office of Justice Programs, National Institute of Justice (NIJ) attends to award on a sole source basis a Purchase Order to Wasserman and Katz, 10109 Snowhill Lane, Potomac, Maryland, 20854. The contractor shall provide management consulting, training and analysis skills in the conduct of operations, communications, organizational assessment and meeting facilitation services in support of NIJ's internal organizational development and communication efforts. The contractor shall work closely with NIJ's Acting Director to develop and define the agency's vision, goals and strategic initiatives, to provide continuing support for NIJ managers, and to advise the Acting Director and Acting Assistant Director during a year of change and transitions. NIJ's need requires that they have a firm that has a working knowledge of NIJ's mission, functions and staff capablilities. A new contractor would not have this knowledge, and it would not be cost effective nor productive for the Government to allow contract time for this "learning curve." These services are in conjunctions with a previous purchase order to Wasserman and Katz to develop the original working instrument. This purchase shall be negotiated in accordance with the authority of 41 U.S.C. 2152 (c)(1) -- Only one responsible source with unique capabilities. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST QUOTATION.
